my basic language is dutch, and second english. I tried to translate this website in february 2006; some words or sentences can be spelled not at the right way...sorry... let me know how to spell and write it :))
This site is for everyone who wants to try - or do - more things with his keyboard/synthesizer. But this website is not designed to learn to play keyboard! I really advise you to get lessons if you want to learn how to play the keys.
With a keyboard, PC and CD-burner, you've already got the possibility of making a CD: for instance recording a midi-file: drums, bass, chords, lead, 2nd melody, effects..etc... and after recording: correcting mistakes; the next step is to make an mp3 or wave-file (cd-quality) with an audio-editor. Think of what you can do with the mp3-file: sharing on the internet or play on your mp3-player.
All the free- and shareware can be found here on this website. 'Free' has got its limitations, but it's fun and wise to try it out first.
Ringtones for your mobile phone are really just midi-files, and sometimes mp3-files; you can make your own!
I started webdesigning in 2001, to provide my students with, educational and entertaining music-related Software, or Sheets. For me, Html was a new thing. and something to try out.
In 2003 my website was beginning to take shape, but the source-code was a big mess..
In 2004/2005 I spend a lot of time in accessibility and usability...
The site is now valid xhtml 1.0 and css, and compatible with multiple browsers and screen-resolutions,
a little use of flash and javascripts (if so, with an alternative).
This means that my website can be viewed by a lot of users.
